We have a One Year Old!

Blake turned one on Thursday! To celebrate we went out to eat at Red Robin. The staff sang a "birthday song" for Blake and he was enthralled!

He also received a small complimentary sundae!

At home he celebrated with a shamrock birthday cookie his daddy bought him. This concluded our sugar rush for the day!

We had a good day with our new "big boy"!

Good Day with Good Friends

On Wednesday the boys and I made a trip to Urbandale to visit our good friends, the Vogels! It was a beautiful day, so Kristin and I took the kids to the park .

Blake LOVED the swings!

Blake really liked to Andrew. He found him fascinating!

Birthday Party

We had Blake's birthday party last Sunday with all the family, including his aunts and uncle from Madison! He had a great time but required some help from his brother and cousins with the present opening.

He was a little confused about the singing part............

But needed no help with the eating part!

We had a wonderful day celebrating with family!
