Dad and Carmen's Wedding

This past weekend was my Dad's wedding to Carmen.  It was a fun day with a lot of nice memories.

We met and took some pictures before the private service.
My mom did Sarah and Amy's hair!

My middle sister Sarah and her husband Chris.  (Sarah is 30 wks pregnant)
My baby sister Amy and her husband Kyle.
The kids were dancing to the dinner music even before the dance started!

Luke and my niece Susanna were the biggest fans of dancing!  They didn't stop until we told them it was time to leave at the end of the night!

Dad and Carmen had their first dance.  Then Carmen had a dance with her dad.
Because my Grandmother is no longer with us, Dad started his dance with my Great Aunt Kathryn (my grandmother's sister).  Then all three of his girls rotated in throughout the dance.
We had a really fun night!!!

We are so happy to welcome Carmen into the family!

A Fun Afternoon with Family

Following flag football we had a fun afternoon playing with Susannah at Steve and Mom's house.  The kids had a blast with a water balloon fight.

Aunt Amy happened to be a good target because I had my camera and Sarah is pregnant.
Then we moved on to catching bugs and putting them in Susannah's keeper.

The evening finished up with a ride in the Gator.
Luke wasn't too sure about the Gator, but the rest of the kids went for a ride with Mom in the back.  So fun!

Flag Football

This past weekend was Brady's first flag football game.

Sarah, Susannah and Amy were down for the weekend, and they all came to the game.  Suz even cheered when Brady made a play!

Brady had a blast, and it was fun to have his aunts and cousin there along with his grandparents.

First Day of School

We have a 1st grader and 4 yr old preschooler in the house now!   Brady and Blake were really excited about the first day.

We took a quick picture with the principal before heading down to Brady's classroom!
We are so excited to have Ms Elsbernd this year!
Next it was time to walk Blake to his classroom.  The preschool is attached to the elementary school now so the boys are in one location.  So much more convenient!
He found his cubby and put away his backpack before seeking out his friends to play.
The only sad part of the day was when we left both boys and Luke said "Awww, not fair!"  He wanted to go to school too!

Lost His First Tooth

Brady lost his first tooth this summer at daycare.  He told us he was eating a chicken nugget and "suddenly it just came out."  So exciting!

The Rushes

We just returned from spending 3 days in northern Wisconsin with my grandparents at their time share.  The boys loved the lake and digging in the sand.

But they really loved playing in the pool!

The playground was also a big hit!  Especially the swings!

Rootbeer float treats are a tradition!
Brady also had fun playing Grandma in battleship.

Even though it was a fast 3 days, we had a wonderful time as a family!  Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for the fun memories!
