Big Helpers

Brady and Blake have really taken to their little brother!  They love holding and helping.

 

Brady is always checking up on Luke.

We have a very lucky little boy to have such loving brothers!

Announcing Luke Edward O'Donnell!

Born June 21st at 9:45 am

7 lbs  7oz

21.5 inches long

Brian and I were a scheduled c-section delivery this past Thursday.  Everything went very well and we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy!

We were shocked with how small of a boy he was!  Especially for us!

We are absolutely in love with him!  He is such a sweet baby!

The boys are excited to be big brothers.  It helps when Luke brings presents for his older siblings. 

They are both big helpers!

A New Cousin

Welcome new cousin Susannah Marie Dannals!

Born April 24th 

6lbs 15oz       19.5 inches long

The family went up to meet her for the first time when she was 8 days old.

The boys really wanted to help with the crying baby.  The fix in our house is the pacifier.......so both boys were trying to shove Susannah's in her mouth!

Brian even took a little nap with her.

So exciting to have a new girl in the family!!!!

While I was busy loving on my new niece, Uncle Chris played Spiderman with Brady while Blake took a nap!  So much fun!

Baby Barred Owls

On April 24th the kids and I went out to Dad's to get a look at his baby barred owls before they flew the nest.  We cut it right down to the wire.  There were 3 babies and we were only able to get to 1 because the other 2 were out of reach already.

The boys were a little braver this year.  Brady was hesitant again.

Blake jumped right in. He loved the owl!

Brady liked helping Grandpa get the owl down and put him back.

We finished the day with a tractor ride.  Blake fell asleep after spending all that energy outside with a baby owl!

Egg hunt at Grandma's

Today we went over to Mom's house to celebrate Easter a day early. The Easter Bunny had come early there so the boys did an egg hunt in the back yard!

Blake was a little slow to start because he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, but once he watched his brother he figured it out and had a blast!

So fun!

Dying Easter Eggs

Last night we got out the Easter eggs to color. What an adventure!

Brady was very focused.

This year Blake actually participated, although it was hard to focus on the task at hand. We splashed and ate the dye......

but had a blast doing it!

30 minutes later we had 10 colored eggs!

(Blake's egg is the one that didn't fare so well on the left!)

The New Court

On Blake's Birthday we broke ground for our new basketball court in the back yard. The boys loved watching the big trucks and tools!

You can kind of see the dimensions in this picture.

We poured the cement right before the party. Both boys got their hand prints done.

Then the following week Uncle Casey came over to help put up the hoop.

Brady helped too!

The kids spend tons of time outside playing now. They have a better place to ride bikes off of our busy street now too. Brady played against Uncle Casey after the big project!
